Robert Barnett '68 and Rita Braver '70 met as undergraduates at
UW-Madison, married, and worked their way to the top of their respective
disciplines. Here they share career advice with L&S students.
Rita
Braver is a senior correspondent for "CBS Sunday Morning". Ms. Braver
has has won five Emmys for investigative reporting on a range of
subjects and in a variety of roles including four years as CBS News'
Chief White House Correspondent.
Mr. Barnett is a partner at one
of the nation's most prestigious law firms. His clients have included
Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Hillary Rodham Clinton,
Laura Bush, Bob Woodward, Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, Jill Biden, Lynne
Cheney, Alan Greenspan, James Patterson, Katharine Graham, Tim Russert,
Barbra Streisand, and George Will to name a few.
