This lecture will focus on the politics and governance of transforming food systems for healthier and more sustainable outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. In doing so, the lecture will discuss who are key stakeholders--at global, national, and local scales--for improved food system governance and examine how their differing sets of interests, beliefs, and power differentials impact the viability of possible policy interventions.
