Bailey Nachreiner-Mackesey is a current undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin - Madison double majoring in political science and journalism and mass communication. Bailey, as part of a recent journalism course, had to complete a semester-long reporting project on a topic of her choosing. She chose to research and explore the value of a liberal arts degree. Pulling together national data, interviews with employers, faculty, staff, and students, and collecting alumni stories, Bailey articulates some of the many valuable skills obtained through pursuing a liberal arts degree.
