Final Project 25 points
Students have two options for their final project: Option 1 is a Research Paper (10-12 pages) and Option 2 is a Digital Story (12-15 mins.). Students are required to conceptualize a research paper or digital story that explores their learning throughout the course and focuses on a question, dilemma, policy, or curriculum approach related to her/his professional interests, role, and/or responsibilities. These final projects should include:
● At least 5 references to required course readings
● 4-5 additional sources unique to a topic of interest (due April 6)
Make sure these references are clear and explicit, especially in the digital stories. Students should address their analysis of research literature on a given topic, meaningful links to course readings,
activities, and discussions, and their reflections about their learning throughout the course. These papers and stories will be presented during the final class meeting. In sum, see these due dates:
BC teacher-students are required to incorporate aspects of the practicum component into their final papers (see page 5). Limits are the same—10-12 pages or 12-15-minute story
