Topic: Patient Decision Making in Urology

Shared decision making is a central aspect of patient centered care, yet its use in urology has been largely unknown. In this presentation Dr. Giulia Lane will discuss contemporary data on shared decision making, decision aids, their impact on patient reported outcomes and the urologists' role in facilitating these important conversation. She will also discuss ongoing K-12 work to build a shared decision model for overactive bladder care.
