This 60-minute course is a combination of two 30-minute sessions. The first 30 minutes is an exploration of how you can best manage real-time (synchronous) discussions in a remote training experience. The latter half similarly explores discussions in an asynchronous situation. We discuss and consider multiple discussion tools, as well as effective use cases that employ them. In particular, a comparison and contrast between Canvas Discussions and Piazza will help you understand the pros and cons of each tool and how they might relate to their own use cases.
