Canvas - Getting Started

Canvas is the centrally support learning management system for UW-Madison. This 90-minute course walks through several foundational Canvas features and options. It introduces the viewer to the Canvas dashboard, beginning concepts (such as the Home page, and publishing content) and the six primary pieces of Canvas architecture upon which all courses are built: files, pages, assignments, quizzes, discussions, and modules. This course is a critical first-step in our training. Additional training sessions build upon this course.
