The application of telemedicine/teleconsulting for clinical health care is becoming more ubiquitous in today’s technology age. This lecture will define telemedicine/teleconsulting/telehealth, briefly review its history, discuss its application, feasibility, and challenges in child maltreatment cases, and examine the potential for child maltreatment teleconsulting in Wisconsin.
