At the McMillan Memorial Library, I found that the normal summer programs for children were no longer feasible with social distancing in affect. Though this library is providing programming through storytimes on Facebook Live and Storywalks® at local parks, I wanted to see what else the library can offer people. For this, I explored what digital programs other libraries are offering and what can be offered outside of the library setting. It is also crucial to examine the problems that can arise with programming that is done outside of the library, such as people not having internet or the correct type of technology. After doing some initial research, I came up with several program ideas, but I feel that more research could be done to create a more extensive list.
