This lecture is part 1 of a 2 part series on Johne's disease in dairy cattle with a focus on diagnosis and control of the infection caused by Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP).  The presentation is targeted at veterinarians, dairy producers, and dairy processors wanting to have an in-depth understanding of Johne's disease diagnosis and control.
