Pesto Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 x fresh pizza dough. We’re using Trader Joe’s
version
- ½ cup pesto. We are using a nut free version.
- 8oz ball of fresh mozzarella slices, pre-sliced
if possible
- 2 large vine ripened or heirloom tomatoes
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Hand stretch the pizza dough to desired size.
The wider the crust, the thinner it will be.
- Put dough on a greased baking sheet
- Brush dough almost to the edge with pesto
- Lay sliced tomato evenly over dough
- Top with fresh mozzarella
- Bake at 450 degree oven for 12 minutes or until
desired color and doneness
