It’s not a secret that white aspiring allies have continually failed Black people--particularly Black women. In this workshop, Nestic Morris and Jessi Corcoran will encourage white aspiring allies to think more deeply about their allyship, admit their failings honestly to overcome white fragility, and decide on some actions to improve. Presenters will deliver content and provide space for journaling and discussion around two main themes: Anti-Blackness and Ally vs. Co-Conspirator. While activities are designed for white folks to examine their allyship, people of all races and ethnicities are welcome to participate.
