Jordan Goldstein is Co-CEO of Gensler, the world’s most influential architecture and design firm. An award-winning designer, he has been recognized with dozens of international, national, and local honors for projects he has led. As Co-CEO, Jordan oversees the firm’s global practice across 57 offices, driving bold creativity, championing visionary research, and ensuring Gensler’s work has a lasting positive impact on the world. A lifelong advocate for design’s power to shape human experience, Jordan has led transformative projects for clients including Marriott International, BMW, Under Armour, and the Motion Picture Association. His work has also redefined city skylines with landmarks such as Beijing’s CP Twin Towers and Bangkok’s Waldorf Astoria Tower. Jordan’s design leadership has been featured in Interior Design, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Fast Company, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal. The DS-CDMC Lecture Series is an annual program offered through the Design Studies Department in co-sponsorship with the Nancy M. Bruce Center for Design and Material Culture. Twice each semester, a scholar and/or maker in support of each of the three design studies majors is invited to campus to present a public lecture. In conjunction with their lecture, they visit classes within the Design Studies Department, meet with faculty and students, and even host workshops for students connected to their practice.
